As a Measurement Engineer, you work on and improve various aspects of our hardware product characterization in Espoo, Finland. You operate radio-frequency test and measurement instrumentation to validate the electrical performance of our microwave amplifiers. In many of these tests you control and monitor a cryogenic system where the devices are cooled down to a millikelvin temperature.The ideal candidate:
Has a Master’s-level degree in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Has programming experience and is interested in creating reliable computer-controlled measurement procedures.
Has at least a basic understanding of microwave engineering.
Has at least a basic understanding of cryogenics. Previous experience with dilution refrigerators is considered an asset.
We have significant flexibility in accommodating different levels of seniority in this role, so please don’t take the above too literally. For example, if you’re a microwave guru, we can certainly teach the cryogenics part to you!
