In this role, you will (co-)develop innovative propositions and position them with strategic stakeholders, accelerating our various technology roadmaps. To enable this you will have access to a group of dedicated experts that master in depth knowledge of innovative technologies and methodologies. You will bear responsibility for strategic business and partnership development in close collaboration with key account managers that oversee the private, public and academic partners.Through market studies, in depth observations of key trends and development, organising knowledge missions and business meetings, you will be responsible for building a knowledge bridge between South Korea and the Netherlands by connecting various stakeholders with overlapping interest in key enabling technologies. Such as South Korean and Dutch government organisations, research institutes, established high-tech companies and startups. Your efforts will result in contract research projects and joint R&D programs that contribute structurally to the scientific roadmap of TNO and our public and private partners in the Netherlands. You will also build a stronger governance between public organisations in both countries resulting in strategic alliance and knowledge sharing, including top technological universities and other academic organisations.In day-to-day operations, you will team up with research, program and project managers, and experts from relevant research departments in the Netherlands, such as automotive and semi-con consultants and scientists. You will also be the liaison between TNO and various governmental organisations in the Netherlands that play an important role in the knowledge, economic and political positioning. You work in a team of dedicated TNO representatives in East Asia and in close alignment with the Innovation Attachés at the Netherlands Embassy in South Korea. In this role you will report directly to the Regional Director Asia Pacific.
