Photonics Process Integration Engineer
Tasks
Overview
As a Photonics Process Integration Engineer for technology development, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing various projects and operational aspects associated with the technology. The focus areas include project management, technology performance improvement, cycle time reduction, module installation, quality event reporting, communication and documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for key operations within the technology, including lots fabrication following and quality event reporting.
Role and Responsibilities
- Coordinate development effort of new technologies
- Coordinate performance improvement and continuous improvement
- Identify any line deviation as soon as possible, find its origin in a short time and take all action to repair it and prevent it from happening again
- Be proactive in improving processes to ensure the best balance between quality, cost and deadlines
- Analyse drifts and propose action plans
- Correlate electrical and optical parameters and different manufacturing operations
Requirements
- Engineer or PhD with at least 3 years’ experience in the field of photonics or semiconductors
- Experience in integrated optics is a strong plus
- Excellent analytical and synthesis skills
- Strong leadership and autonomy
- Good ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Be able to adapt your communication to situations (internal and external communication).
- Good computer skills are required (Python, JMP, R or equivalent) and knowledge of data analysis systems
- Goal oriented and driven to work on the next generation photonic technologies
- Proficiency in English; fluency in French is a strong plus
