OverviewYou will be part of the Keysight Quantum Engineering Solution (QES) team within the Communication Solution Group (CSG), where we design and develop measurement solutions to enable the future of quantum technologies. QES is responsible for producing world-leading solutions for the challenging and exciting market of quantum technologies, including quantum computing, quantum communications, and quantum sensing.
As an intern, you will be a key member of a customer success team that works closely with power users to understand their use case scenarios and implement them in the API (Application Programming Interface) of the Keysight Quantum Control System (QCS). The ideal intern is one who takes a proactive approach to issues then "rolls up their sleeves" to solve problems.

ResponsibilitiesYour role and responsibility will include:
- Understanding the measurement science behind state-of-the-art quantum use cases
- Develop Python code for quantum experiments
- Design and simulation of DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithms
- Electronic measurements to test the developed algorithms
- Validate on a DUT (Device Under Test) the effectiveness of the developed solution
QualificationsRequired Skills:
- A graduate student working towards an M.Sc. or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent discipline.
- Experience in Python programming.
- Proficient communication skills in oral and written English.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work as a team player as well as performing individually.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
