Description
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our fast-growing software team in a full-time capacity for 6 months. In this role, you will support the development, and refinement of our user interface, that interacts with various quantum sensing hardware components — such as sensors, laser controllers, and translation stages. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working closely with cutting-edge software in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
What is expected of you
- Ability to work full-time on-site in our Munich lab for 6 months.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Computer, Software, or related field).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Qt for GUI development.
- Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative code management.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, including command-line tools and shell scripting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
We recognize that no single candidate may have all of these skills. If you have a strong subset and the enthusiasm to learn the rest, we encourage you to apply.
Our benefits
- An office in the cool Werksviertel Munich neighborhood
- Sport membership
- Flexible hours
