To support our growth (and grow further!) we are looking for a new Mechanical Engineer (full time, 40 hours) to join our team in Delft!
What you will be doing...
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software
- Build and test prototypes to validate and refine designs
- Ensure functionality, manufacturability, and assembly feasibility
- Collaborate with physicists, engineers, and the assembly team
- Support the development of full-scale high-tech systems
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a high-tech R&D environment, contributing directly to the next generation of quantum technology hardware.
Your profile and requirements
We are looking for someone who has...
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field;
- Strong skills in CAD design and understanding of engineering principles;
- Hands-on mindset: you like building, assembling, and tinkering with components;
- Accuracy, problem-solving skills, and ownership of your work.
The following working experiences are a plus:
- Experience in a professional drafting or design team;
- Background in precision mechanics;
- Previous work in assembly or prototyping environments.
