Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit hast Du die Möglichkeit, aktiv an der Gestaltung zukünftiger Weltraumtechnologien mitzuwirken und Dein theoretisches Wissen in einem hochmodernen Umfeld praktisch anzuwenden. Deine Aufgabe Analyse der Anforderungen an die Firmware für einen Quantum Random Number Generator (QRNG) im Weltraumbereich Entwicklung und Implementierung der Firmware für einen FPGA-basierten QRNG-Prototypen Entwurf und Implementierung von Schnittstellen zur Kommunikation mit übergeordneten Systemen Integration und Verifikation der entwickelten Firmware auf der Hardware Durchführung von Tests zur Validierung der Funktionalität und Performance des QRNG Dokumentation der Entwicklungsergebnisse und der Firmware-Architektur Präsentation der Ergebnisse im Rahmen eines Abschlusskolloquiums Deine Qualfikation Laufendes Masterstudium im Bereich Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Elektrotechnik, Informatik, Technische Kybernetik, Physik oder einem vergleichbaren Studiengang Fundierte Kenntnisse in der FPGA-Entwicklung (VHDL/Verilog) Erfahrung mit Programmierung von Embedded-Systemen (C/C++) wünschenswert Grundlagenkenntnisse in den Bereichen Kryptographie oder Quantenmechanik von Vorteil Analytisches Denkvermögen und eine strukturierte Arbeitsweise Hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative und Teamfähigkeit.
