About
I am an aspiring quantum software engineer seeking roles in algorithm development/implementation and/or quantum error correction. I am highly proficient in Python and have implemented algorithms using Qiskit. Some examples are implementing Gover's Algorithm and the 5 Qubit Perfect Code. I have a strong foundation on computer science and physics which have proven to be beneficial in understanding quantum phenomena and bridging that gap with computer science principles.
My prior experiences include being an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Texas at Austin where I researched quantum computing. I developed a strong foundational understanding of qubits, gate operations, entanglement, and algorithm development/implementation.
I also interned at a superconducting tape manufacturer, MetOx International, where I provided timely software solutions to several problems. Some included automating process tools and automating data collection, analysis, and dumping. I also created a web page to seamlessly view process data. I also automated their report generation by creating a lightweight application. All of these projects were heavily involved Python and also included some C#.
I am able to apply these skills to a Quantum Software Engineer role as I can proficiently code, as stated in my prior internship experience, and I have foundational knowledge of quantum computing through my research. I look forward to discussing with potential employers to help revolutionize quantum computing.
