The Trapped Ion Quantum Technology Group at Stockholm University is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to contribute pioneering research in quantum simulations with trapped Rydberg ions. The aim of the PhD project is to develop a quantum simulator for modeling molecular dynamics using our trapped Rydberg ion technology. This position is part of the ERC Synergy project “Open 2D Quantum Simulator (OPEN-2QS)”, which will start on 1 May 2025.
