Quandela is a European deep-tech scale-up developing photonic quantum computers — modular, scalable, energy-efficient, available both on cloud and on-premise.
Following a €50M fundraising and strong commercial acceleration, we are entering a critical scale phase: structuring our enterprise go-to-market, building a high-performance marketing engine, and converting a defined universe of strategic accounts in a non-mature market.
We operate in an emerging industry where evangelization, long sales cycles (2–4 years), and strategic account nurturing are critical.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on Head of Marketing to build and scale our enterprise marketing organization.
This is not a pure brand role. This is a lead generation, account-based marketing, and marketing architecture role.
Mission
Build and lead Quandela’s enterprise marketing engine in a non-mature, emerging deep-tech market, where market education and progressive conversion are key.
You will:
- Structure and scale our enterprise lead generation strategy
- Design and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns
- Own marketing contribution to pipeline
- Build and grow the marketing organization progressively
Your focus will be on a defined universe of strategic accounts (HPC ecosystem, research institutions, industrial leaders).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Enterprise Lead Generation & Account-Based Marketing (Core Priority)
- Define and execute a global enterprise lead generation strategy
- Structure and deploy ABM campaigns targeting prioritized accounts
- Map and tier strategic accounts (Tier 1 / Tier 2)
- Design multi-touch nurturing strategies across channels (email, LinkedIn, events, thought leadership)
- Ensure continuous engagement with key accounts across multi-year cycles
- Align closely with Sales on opportunity prioritization and follow-up discipline
You must be comfortable launching campaigns yourself when needed.
2. Marketing Operations, CRM & Pipeline Structuring
- Own marketing contribution to enterprise pipeline
- Sales enablement (sales narratives, decks, case studies, battlecards, technical storytelling)
- Structure CRM usage (segmentation, enrichment, tracking, automation)
- Design and implement lead scoring models (including event contribution scoring)
- Improve automation maturity (tool optimization or migration if needed)
- Build dashboards measuring marketing’s impact on pipeline evolution
- Maintain high data quality and prevent database fatigue
This role requires strong operational autonomy — not agency-only coordination.
3. Market Evangelization in a maturing Market
This role requires prior experience in marketing within non-mature or emerging markets.
You will:
- Develop educational nurturing frameworks
- Build demand where awareness and urgency are not yet fully established
- Build an ecosystem & partner marketing (HPC & Cloud)
- Nurture a community & adoption (users → buyers) working closely with the Hub team
- Structure content strategies that progressively move accounts from exploration to strategic investment
- Support long sales cycles (2–4 years), including engagement during public funding processes
Experience in market creation, category design, or disruptive technology adoption is essential.
4. Product & Messaging Alignment
You will supervise the Product Marketing Specialist and ensure:
- Technical features are translated into persona-based value propositions
- Messaging moves from product-centric to pain-point centric
- Narratives evolve alongside product roadmap and R&D innovation
- Consistency across sales enablement and nurturing campaigns
5. Event Strategy & Integration
You will supervise the Event Specialist and:
- Integrate events into the broader lead generation framework
- Structure pre-event targeting and meeting booking
- Ensure differentiated messaging
- Organize post-event structured follow-ups
- Measure ROI in terms of pipeline contribution
6. Team Leadership & Organizational Scaling
You will directly manage:
- Product Marketing Specialist
- Event Specialist
Beyond direct management, you will progressively structure and grow the marketing organization.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing the future marketing organization (roles, hiring timing, seniority mix)
- Managing internal resources (existing and future hires)
- Coordinating external partners (freelancers, agencies, specialized consultants)
- Defining the right balance between in-house capabilities and outsourced expertise
- Building a scalable marketing structure aligned with company growth
You are expected to act as a true marketing architect and builder.
