Through this work, you will help turn complex concepts into robust, practical solutions that support Alice & Bob’s mission to build breakthrough quantum technologies. \n
Responsibilities:At Alice & Bob you will:
• Do the mechanical design (3D, 2D) and sizing, including thermal and structural constraints in demanding environments
• Participate in design for manufacturing, including parts technical drawing, material selection, machining constraints, heat and surface treatments
• Follow parts manufacturing, reception, inspection, and assembly
• Assist with the integration of electronic or RF-related components into mechanical assemblies
• Participate in the setup of test benches and experimental configurations
• Support testing, qualification, troubleshooting, and data acquisition on multidisciplinary systems
• Draft assembly procedures, technical documentation, and system/interface diagrams
Requirements:Hard Skills:
- Final year of Master's degree in Engineering in Mechanical Design or Mechatronic
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modelling and 2D drawings)
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, metallic materials, machining, and assembly
- Good knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, or mechatronic systems
- Familiarity with test benches, sensors, wiring, connectors is a plus
Soft Skills:
- Strong hands-on mindset
- Organized, autonomous, and detail-oriented
- Curious and willing to work across disciplines
- Problem-solving mindset
- Fluent in English
