Aqora is building the platform layer for quantum computing: a neutral community platform where developers, researchers, and quantum teams build, share, benchmark, and run solutions across hardware providers.
At the core is a Python notebook-based workspace, connected to a hub for algorithms, datasets, reference implementations, profiles, reputation, and a marketplace layer. Aqora has around 3,500 registered users, recently closed its seed round, and is scaling from a small founding team into a structured product, commercial, and community organisation.
We are hiring our first dedicated Senior Sales Manager, Europe. This is the first commercial role focused on turning Aqora’s quantum community, challenge activity, and platform usage into repeatable enterprise revenue in Europe.
This is a build-from-scratch commercial role. You will own the European enterprise pipeline end to end, define the sales playbook, and build relationships with technical buyers across quantum, deep-tech, scientific computing, and industrial R&D.
What you will do
You will build the European enterprise pipeline from the ground up: prospecting, qualification, deal structuring, closing, and account development.
You will develop commercial relationships with quantum hardware providers, ecosystem players, deep-tech companies, and industrial R&D teams.
You will sell broader platform engagements as entry points into long-term Aqora relationships. You will turn challenge-led conversations into broader platform engagements with hardware providers, ecosystem vendors, and corporate innovation teams.
You will set up the CRM, sales process, forecasting cadence, and commercial reporting from scratch.
You will represent Aqora at major quantum and deep-tech events across Europe. This includes building credibility with technical audiences, not only managing a commercial pipeline.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience closing complex enterprise B2B deals in deep-tech, developer tools, scientific computing, AI infrastructure, HPC, or a related technical market.
You should be comfortable selling to technical buyers such as CTOs, R&D leads, Heads of Innovation, technical founders, and ecosystem operators. You should be able to explain a technical platform clearly, structure multi-stakeholder conversations, and move from exploratory interest to concrete commercial next steps.
An existing network in quantum, deep-tech, scientific computing, HPC, AI infrastructure, or enterprise innovation is valuable.
Fluent English is required. French, German, or another major European language is a plus.
You should be a self-starter who can build a sales motion before a formal commercial playbook exists.
Working at Aqora
Aqora is Paris-first by default. Co-location is the norm, with flexibility for exceptional individuals. Relocation support and visa sponsorship may be considered case by case.
The team is senior, self-starting, and direct. There are no playbooks yet; there are problems, judgment, and ownership.
The company works cross-functionally: engineers understand the commercial picture, and commercial people understand the technology.
Aqora applies a no gender pay gap policy. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every requirement. Aqora is committed to building a diverse team.
