Aqora is building the platform layer for quantum computing: a neutral community platform where developers, researchers, and quantum teams build, share, benchmark, and run solutions across hardware providers.
At the core is a Python notebook-based workspace, connected to a hub for algorithms, datasets, reference implementations, profiles, reputation, and a marketplace layer. Aqora has around 3,500 registered users, recently closed its seed round, and is scaling from a small founding team into a structured product, commercial, and community organisation.
We are hiring our first Head of Marketing. This is the first role dedicated to making Aqora visible, trusted, and understood by the people who shape the quantum ecosystem.
You will build the marketing function, brand voice, content engine, and community presence from the ground up, across two audiences: developers and researchers on one side, enterprise and ecosystem decision-makers on the other.
What you will do
You will own Aqora’s full marketing strategy: brand positioning, content calendar, social media, SEO, developer relations, and campaign planning.
You will build Aqora’s presence in the quantum community through technically credible, hype-free content. The goal is to make Aqora explainable to technical users without reducing it to generic quantum marketing.
You will develop messaging for two audiences in parallel: developers and researchers on the community side, and enterprise decision-makers on the commercial side.
You will shape Aqora’s conference presence, campaign calendar, thought leadership, and community storytelling. You will identify where Aqora should show up across quantum, developer, research, and deep-tech communities, then turn that presence into content, users, and qualified inbound interest.
You will own marketing KPIs including registered users, engagement, content reach, and inbound leads.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with marketing experience in tech, deep-tech, developer-focused products, scientific software, AI infrastructure, or a related technical market.
You should have experience building a brand and community from near zero in a technical domain. You should be comfortable creating content that earns trust from technical readers before it tries to convert them.
You should be a strong writer across long-form and short-form formats: blog posts, whitepapers, social media, email, and campaign copy.
You should be hands-on with SEO, analytics, social media management, and tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
You should be able to communicate quantum credibly without overpromising. A hype-free brand voice is core to Aqora.
You should be comfortable operating with high autonomy in an early-stage environment.
