we are seeking two postdocs in quantum information and mathematical optimizationto work in the group of Felix Huber (https://huberfe.github.io/) at the University of Gdańsk.
The positions are part of the QuantERA projects SDPCode and ToDiQT(https://quantera-sdpcode.github.io/, https://quantera-todiqt.github.io/)and will benefit from significant exchange with the project partners.
Possible research topics are:- bounds on quantum codes (LDPC, spherical, magic state distillation codes)- randomized rounding algorithms for ground states, quantum codes, and tensor-networks- device independent certification of quantun codes and error correction protocols
Applicants are expected to have a significant research record in a relevant field.The deadlines for applications are 1 and 30 September 2026 respectively,but later applications may also be considered.
