We are seeking an IT Applications Intern in our Broomfield, CO location. The IT Applications Intern will be a part of the IT Applications team and will play a hands-on role in supporting, deploying, licensing, configuring, administering, automating, auditing, tracking, and troubleshooting the SaaS and desktop applications that run our business process, accounting and finance, DevOps, engineering and control systems.
As an IT Applications Intern, you will work to ensure stakeholders understand and have access to our systems and services whenever and wherever they need them around the globe.
A successful IT Applications Intern will have experience collaborating with stakeholders. They will have a curiosity and drive to find their own solutions to technical challenges using internal and external knowledge repositories. They will have experience doing system administration, automation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise application provisioning, licensing, deploymens, migration, and server system support. This work includes configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting on-premises applications (Windows and Linux server OS environments) and SaaS products.
- Configure 3rd-party integrations (e.g., Box, DocuSign, Smartsheet, or similar), connecting disparate applications and data mappings.
- Enable and Integrate Azure AD SSO.
- Monitor system performance (e.g., Datadog or similar) to safeguard data or configurations to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Ensure IT and security controls are consistently implemented and aligned with industry regulations, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to the maintenance of an Approved Application database, and help to maintain approvals, exceptions, and alerts
- Analyze usage trends and forecast future resource requirements to ensure applications scale to meet growing demands including cost optimization and resource rationalization strategies.
- Interact with software vendors to report issues, request assistance, and stay informed about product updates and future developments.
- Collaborate and engage with stakeholders and IT staff to provide exceptional customer support, system updates, status updates, etc.
- Create and maintain up-to-date documentation, including drawings, configurations, and recovery plans.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program working towards a relevant IT field of study.
- Demonstrated student or extracurricular work experience administering systems and applications
- Due to Contractual requirements, applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Quantinuum. Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this role is $24 - $29 hourly. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate's skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
