Job Description
As a Procurement & Facility Coordinator you will be part of the team that develops and delivers cutting-edge, quantum networking hardware throughout the world. In this entry-level position, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate production inventory and organize orders for manufacturing. As a salaried employee, you must be prepared to assist during periods of high volume and tight deadlines, which may not adhere to a standard 9am-5pm workday. In this highly dynamic and collaborative culture, it is of utmost importance that you are coachable, team-oriented and eager to learn new skills. There are opportunities to grow into a logistics or production coordinator.

Tasks
● Execute the order lifecycle from placement to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
● Coordinate inventory within production and across groups to keep operations moving forward and resolve issues efficiently.
● Execute daily workflows which include recording and reporting on tasks progress and issues.
● Ensure premises, assets and communications are used effectively.
● Place orders, organize and file receipts, unbox and receive packages, log them in the inventory system, and then store them, accordingly.
● Pick orders for manufacturing.
● Own the organization and overall cleanliness of the lab and manufacturing area.
● Self-driven independent work on a variety of daily tasks.
● Safely and properly handle components and products.
● Safely and properly use a variety of tools and materials required to execute duties.
● Identify processes and tools to improve purchasing, inventory organization and inbound/outbound logistics.
● Cross-train within the department to learn other skills and work processes.
● Complete other tasks as assigned.
● Adhere to safety protocols, best practices, and all rules and expectations of the employee handbook.
Required Qualifications
● High school diploma. Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
● Two years experience in a professional or production environment.
● Strong communication skills.
● Fluency with MS Excel or a data-based workflow management system.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Detail oriented with demonstrated strong organizational skills of hundreds of components and tools.
● Familiarity with electronics and optics handling.
● Experience in managing supplier relationships.
● Experience with software-based management systems especially ordering and inventory.
● Basic experience progressing and communicating project tasks and timelines.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 commensurate with experience
