We’re Single Quantum, and we’re on a mission to redefine what’s possible in photon detection. As our company scales up, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our Finance team in Delft for 0,6FTE (3 days a week).

To support our continued growth, we are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Finance Officer to strengthen our Finance team — someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-tech environment and takes pride in turning numbers into meaningful insights that help shape our future.
Note: This role is a part time position (0,6 FTE / 3 days a week).
What You Will Be Doing
You’ll be part of a small, close-knit Finance team that keeps our fast-growing company running smoothly. No two days are the same — some days you’ll dive deep into numbers, others you’ll help colleagues solve practical issues.
Here’s what your role will look like:
- Processing invoices from vendors and service providers
- Managing the finance inbox
- Reconciling bank transactions and prepare payment runs
- Handling employee reimbursements and expense reports
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
- Keeping our accounting systems and records accurate and organised
- Efficiently resolving invoice or payment issues before escalation
- Assist with other administrative or ad hoc tasks to help the team and company operate efficiently
Your profile and requirements
Your profile
- A degree (MBO/HBO) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy
- 2–5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role (experience in an international or scale-up environment is a plus)
- Working knowledge of financial processes
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (Dutch is a plus)
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support a small but growing finance team
- A proactive attitude
The following working experiences are a plus;
- Experience with ERP software
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles
