We are seeking a highly accomplished Marketing Leader with a strong background in deep-tech or solutions marketing to serve as our global Director of Solutions Marketing.
This critical leadership role is responsible for translating our technical superiority into compelling market value that drives pipeline, supports order intake, and establishes Qblox as the thought leader in quantum control. You will be the marketing spearhead for our international expansion, working closely with the executive team and the sales organization to define market strategy and execution. Initially, this role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). This is a critical leadership position with a mandate for future elevation. The long-term expectation is to transition into a final, single-point-of-accountability executive role (e.g., CMO or SVP), leading the function independently as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Go-To-Market (GTM) & Positioning:
- Develop and own the regional go-to-market strategies for Qblox's product line (Cluster, modular hardware, and software APIs) across priority academic and commercial quantum markets.
- Define and articulate the value proposition for Qblox's modular and scalable solutions, ensuring messaging resonates with technical buyers (researchers, quantum engineers) and business stakeholders (R&D leaders).
- Conduct deep market and competitive intelligence across our regions to identify new growth vectors and tailor messaging to regional nuances and quantum architectures.
Content & Demand Generation:
- Lead the creation of high-impact, technical marketing content (e.g., solution briefs, whitepapers, application notes, case studies) that drives quality lead generation and supports the sales cycle.
- Partner with Product and establish a Field Marketing team to execute impactful campaigns and events (trade shows, technical workshops) that build brand awareness and drive pipeline in both regions.
Partner & Ecosystem Development:
- Develop and execute co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners, including quantum processor manufacturers, software providers, and major cloud platforms.
- Serve as a key liaison to the regional scientific and quantum communities, leveraging speaking opportunities and technical content to build brand authority.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of progressive B2B technology marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior marketing leadership role (Director level) overseeing multi-territory international regions (EMEA and/or US preferred).
- Proven track record in Solutions or Product Marketing for a highly technical product (e.g., scientific instrumentation, deep-tech hardware, semiconductors, or complex enterprise software).
- Demonstrable experience translating complex technical specifications into clear, value-driven market narratives that directly support sales and pipeline generation.
- Deep commercial understanding of the EMEA and (preferably) APAC technology and research markets, including cultural nuances and key procurement cycles.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; a technical background (Physics, Engineering) is a strong plus.
