We are looking for an experienced Radio Frequency Engineer, who would be part of the growing Quantum Applications team at Bluefors, the leading manufacturer of millikelvin cryogenic systems for quantum computing. Are you interested in high-end technology and working in a cutting-edge field? Are you always eager to learn more? If yes, please read more!
As the Radio Frequency Engineer you will work within our world-class applied research environment, directly supporting the commercialization of state-of-the-art quantum computing systems. Your tasks will include designing and testing of microwave, high-speed, and high-density circuits and interconnect across the product lifecycle, supporting and improving our wiring products for the quantum computer industry and coordinating the prototyping activities and design test procedures. You will be maintaining accurate documentation of technical activities, progress status, and data management and following established project management practices to track key performance indicators.
We are looking for a person who has Master’s or PhD level degree in electrical engineering, radio engineering, physics, computer science or closely related field and previous work experience in the quantum, aerospace, wireless, IoT, scientific instrumentation, sensors, or other high-technology industry sector. Your previous work experience should include testing and troubleshooting rf assemblies including cables, interconnects, amplifiers, non-reciprocal devices, and other analogue high frequency (GHz) systems. You have expertise in microwave test and measurement and data analysis for debugging active and passive devices and proficiency in circuit simulation and layout techniques. While the focus is on delivery, we also encourage contributions to scientific publications and patents for those motivated by research visibility. See our publication record here: https://www.bluefors.com/publications.
We offer you an interesting, challenging, and responsible position as well as the support of a highly skilled growth organization. This is an excellent opportunity for your own professional growth in a dynamic, enthusiastic, and professional team where we work together, and we support each other. We have a multicultural work environment with room to grow, where you can use your potential and develop your skills.
