What will you do?
At Qblox, we’re accelerating the worldwide race to build scalable quantum computers by delivering the world’s leading quantum control stack. We’re not just building hardware - we’re enabling the next generation of quantum technology.
We’re now looking for a highly commercial, hunter-oriented Account Executive / Strategic Account Manager to expand our presence across Germany and the wider DACH region. This is a strategic growth role focused on developing new business opportunities across both public and private sector organisations within the research, advanced computing and wider deep-tech ecosystem, including customers operating in and around High Performance Computing (HPC) environments. We are looking for a commercially driven sales professional with experience selling complex technology solutions into enterprise, research and technical organisations.
What you’ll do
- Identify, develop and close new opportunities across research institutions, universities, national labs, HPC centres, advanced computing environments and enterprise organisations.
- Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders including directors, research leads, IT infrastructure teams, enterprise architects and C-level decision makers.
- Lead the full sales process from prospecting and pipeline generation through to negotiation, deal closure and account growth.
- Represent Qblox across the German and European HPC and quantum ecosystem through conferences, customer engagements, industry events and strategic partnerships.
- Understand customer challenges and position Qblox’s quantum control stack and infrastructure solutions within complex technical and research environments.
- Work closely with application scientists, product management, marketing and leadership teams to align customer requirements with Qblox’s product roadmap and go-to-market strategy.
- Develop strategic account plans and consistently exceed ambitious growth and revenue targets in a fast-scaling deep-tech environment.

What we’re looking for
- A minimum of 5+ years of success in enterprise technology sales, strategic account management or business development within complex technical environments.
- A true new-business developer with a track record of building pipeline, opening strategic accounts and winning complex enterprise opportunities.
- Existing relationships and experience within the HPC, research computing, AI infrastructure, data centre or advanced computing ecosystem.
- Experience managing long and multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving technical, commercial and executive stakeholders.
- Able to engage confidently with both technical experts and senior business leaders across research and enterprise environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
Nice to have
- Experience selling into universities, research institutes, HPC centres or scientific computing environments
- Exposure to quantum computing, AI infrastructure, cloud, semiconductors or deep-tech industries
- MEDDIC / Challenger / consultative sales methodology experience
- Existing network across the German or European HPC ecosystem
