We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern in our Broomfield, CO Location.

Key Responsibilities:
- This internship role will be with the team that’s focusing on lab control software and/or real-time embedded software
- Software design and coding
- Unit testing and integration with CI/CD toolchains
- Work with software leads to define and execute core project
- Help with other development tasks as interested
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD
- Graduating after December 2027
- Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person. defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status
- Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
WE VALUE:
- Experience integrating a diverse set of components, including hardware and software, particularly in engineering laboratory environments.
- Experience developing software interfacing with engineering laboratory equipment, including sensors and controllers.
- Interest in working on compilers and associated technologies such as LLVM
- Experience with Docker or similar tooling
- Fluency in Python, C/C++
- Software development skills in Linux development environments
- Familiarity with software configuration, delivery, and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker
- Enthusiastic support of deployed software: debugging, profiling, responding to user feedback, etc.
- Experience with relational or key/value database systems
- Interest in compiler tools, quantum circuits, circuit optimization, and quantum algorithms
- Enthusiasm for problem solving in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement

Compensation & Benefits:
The pay range for this role is $27 - $39 per hour. Actual compensation within this range may vary based on the candidate’s skills, educational background, professional experience, and unique qualifications for the role.
