About the role :
We are looking for a Senior IT Automation Engineer to scale automation initiatives across our IT infrastructure and beyond.
You will act as the company’s automation expert and architect, designing robust, reusable solutions that streamline IT operations and enable other teams to automate their own processes.
This role sits at the core of a cutting-edge quantum computing environment, where reliability, scalability, and automation excellence are critical.We are looking for a Senior IT Automation Engineer to implement automation initiatives across our IT infrastructure and beyond. You will be the automation expert, designing and deploying solutions that streamline IT operations while also enabling automation capabilities for other teams across the organization in the quantum computing field.

Responsibilities :
- Design and implement automation for server provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management (Ansible, Terraform, PXE)
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices
- Automate identity and access management workflows (Azure AD onboarding/offboarding, access requests, self-service tools)
- Build and maintain custom automation tools and scripts (primarily in Python)
- Integrate systems and APIs to orchestrate end-to-end automation workflows
- Design automation solutions for other departments and act as an internal automation consultant
- Create frameworks, standards, and reusable components enabling teams to automate safely and efficiently
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines related to infrastructure and automation
- Document automation solutions and support teams in adopting best practices
Requirement :
- 4+ years of experience in IT automation and infrastructure engineering
- Strong expertise in Ansible and Python for automation and tooling
- Solid infrastructure background (Linux, Kubernetes, networking fundamentals)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices
- Knowledge of identity and access management systems (Azure AD or equivalent)
- Ability to design automation solutions at scale and understand complex infrastructure architectures
- Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
