At the heart of our Assembly & Production team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of electronic boards — from requirements gathering through integration, validation, and ongoing operational maintenance. You will act as the interface between the systems, opto-electronics, software, and integration teams.Â
Your Key Responsibilities
- 1. Electronic Board Management & DevelopmentÂ
- Design and develop electronic boards using Altium Designer (schematics, component selection, routing)Â
- Gather requirements and contribute to writing technical specificationsÂ
- Manage hardware versions, component obsolescence, and manufacturability improvementsÂ
- Coordinate board integration within Quandela’s productÂ
- Produce the documentation associated to each electronic boardÂ
- 2. Associated Software DevelopmentÂ
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware on microcontrollersÂ
- Develop Python scripts for equipment control, configuration, and validationÂ
- Ensure consistency across hardware, firmware, and software evolutionsÂ
- Produce documentation required for integration and maintenanceÂ
- 3. Configuration Management & TraceabilityÂ
- Manage versions of boards, firmwares, and associated software toolsÂ
- Ensure traceability of configurations deployed in each systemÂ
- Maintain technical documentation and manufacturing filesÂ
- Guarantee availability of the correct versions for integration and production teamsÂ
- 4. Validation & Production TransferÂ
- Define validation strategies and implement test protocolsÂ
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of test benchesÂ
- Ensure every new board is fully documented and production-ready before transferÂ
- Collaborate with teams to guarantee maintainability of developmentsÂ
- Engineering degree or Master's in electronics / embedded systemsÂ
- + 5 years of experience in electronic development or systems integrationÂ
- Analog and digital electronic design
- PCB development using Altium DesignerÂ
- Embedded firmware development on microcontrollersÂ
- Python developmentÂ
- Hardware/software version and configuration management
- Technical documentation writingÂ
- Implementation of validation and testing protocolsÂ
- Fluent English (C1) — technical documentation writing in EnglishÂ
