Who we are
Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from Inria, CNRS and Sorbonne University, CryptoNext Security is a European pioneer in post-quantum cryptography and crypto-agility. As a software vendor, our mission is to help organisations migrate their IT systems and products toward quantum-safe, crypto-agile architectures.
Our platform supports the entire post-quantum transition, across three product lines: discovery of cryptographic assets to expose risks and blind spots; crypto-agility management to govern policies and steer the transition of business applications; and remediation toward quantum-safe solutions for a smooth, controlled migration.
We serve major enterprises, public institutions and system integrators across financial services, defence, industry and the public sector.
This is no longer a speculative market. National security agencies have published their migration timelines, the standards are settled, and organisations are moving into implementation. Demand runs on a regulatory clock, not a discretionary budget cycle.
The role
Selling through partners is how CryptoNext scales and how we reach international markets. The challenge is to move CryptoNext from a direct-sales business to one where growth is driven by partners — and the timing matters: service providers are building their post-quantum offers right now. The partner relationships formed this year will shape who wins this market.
You define and execute our indirect commercial strategy end to end: building the partner programme from a blank page, recruiting partners, sourcing the first opportunities through them, and sustaining the relationships over time.
You report to the CEO and work closely with Key Accounts, Marketing and Product.
What you will own
• Channel strategy across service providers, hyperscalers and technology alliances
• The partner programme: design, tiers, commercial terms, deal registration
• Partner recruitment — prospecting, selection and onboarding
• First opportunities: discovery, qualification and building the initial proposals alongside partners
• Long-term partner management and enablement
• Industry events and conferences
• Indirect forecasting and reporting, and disciplined use of the CRM and sales stack
What we are looking for
• 5+ years in B2B technology sales, including experience building a partnership from zero with major global partners
• A track record in complex, long-cycle sales within cybersecurity, infrastructure or infrastructure software
• Comfort in an environment where the processes do not exist yet, and the credibility to hold a technical conversation with demanding buyers
• Fluency with modern tools to accelerate lead generation, presentations and complex RFP responses
• Fluent French and English
Familiarity with cybersecurity, cryptography or PKI is a real advantage, but not a requirement — we will bring you up to speed on the technology.
What we offer
• You design the partner programme rather than inherit one, levering current business relationships
• An international territory, reporting to the CEO
• A market driven by regulatory deadlines rather than economic conditions
• Deep scientific foundations, led by recognised experts in the field
Hiring process
• Introductory call
• Interview with the CEO
• Working session: a deep dive into what you have built, and where we go from here
• Conversation with Product, and with our Founder & CTO
TECHNICAL & MARKET ANALYSIS | Appended by Quantum.Jobs
The global transition toward post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and crypto-agility represents a systemic realignment of enterprise security infrastructure, shifting commercial adoption from speculative research to compliance-driven execution. As national regulatory bodies establish strict migration timelines for public key infrastructure, indirect commercial leaders act as vital force multipliers across the cybersecurity enablement layer. This role type exists to bridge deep-tech software vendors with global system integrators, hyperscalers, and managed security service providers, resolving structural distribution bottlenecks. By structuring scalable partner ecosystems, these positions convert complex cryptographic compliance mandates into standardized, repeatable channel offerings. Consequently, the role functions as a strategic lever for market penetration, ensuring enterprise-wide crypto-agility solutions are rapidly deployed across critical national infrastructure and regulated sectors.
The post-quantum cybersecurity landscape is undergoing a structural evolution, driven by the standardization of quantum-resistant algorithms and mandatory government migration deadlines. Sector-wide efforts continue to address talent and integration challenges in quantum systems, particularly as enterprises struggle to audit and remediate legacy cryptographic dependencies. Within this ecosystem, direct enterprise sales models encounter significant friction due to the sheer scale of global IT infrastructure requiring modernization. Channel partner networks serve as the primary mechanism for scaling remediation tools, linking specialized software vendors with global delivery channels.
System integrators and global consultancies occupy a central position in the post-quantum value chain, managing multi-year digital transformation budgets for telecom, finance, and defense clients. However, vendor fragmentation and a lack of unified partner frameworks often impede the rapid commercialization of specialized crypto-agility management platforms. Indirect commercial strategies mitigate these friction points by aligning software licensing with service providers' existing go-to-market architectures and managed service portfolios.
Furthermore, technology alliances with cloud hyperscalers and hardware security module providers are essential for embedding post-quantum readiness into foundational digital architectures. As regulatory pressure intensifies, service providers are actively assembling comprehensive post-quantum technology stacks to capture emerging compliance budgets. Establishing structured partner channels ensures that specialized cryptographic discovery and remediation tools become embedded standards across international enterprise networks.
The capability architecture for this role type centers on synthesizing complex technical concepts—such as public key infrastructure modernization, crypto-agility management, and asset discovery—into structured commercial frameworks. Expertise in partner program design, margin distribution, deal registration protocols, and multi-tier channel economics is paramount for driving partner alignment and preventing channel conflict. Furthermore, navigating complex B2B procurement environments requires an acute understanding of how regulatory mandates influence enterprise buying behavior across different geographic jurisdictions.
Interoperability between vendor technology and partner service architectures depends on establishing clear technical enablement pathways for third-party solution architects and sales teams. This necessitates a strategic grasp of enterprise software integration, API-driven workflows, and compliance auditing tools. By establishing standardized co-selling frameworks and joint value propositions, this capability layer accelerates sales cycles, lowers customer acquisition costs, and ensures robust field enablement across international distribution networks. - Accelerates the international adoption of post-quantum cryptographic standards through structured channel networks
